Cratoule Summer School 2024


Applications now open for the Cratoule Summer Singing School, August 17th to 24th, 2024, Cratoule, France

A week of one-to-one voice lessons, group classes, master classes, great food and wine. Participants will have the opportunity to work on vocal technique, musical interpretation, style, languages, movement and stage craft.

Participants will work with four excellent voice teachers and three leading pianists and vocal coaches.

The programme culminates in a public, outdoor concert in the old and beautiful nearby hill village of Barjac.

The repertoire will include opera scenes ( staged), song ensembles, arias and songs.

This programme is for college students and experienced amateur singers.

As part of the application we request a video recording of one song or aria. Video recordings should be sent to  via WeTransfer or sharing a link to Google Drive, Dropbox or anything similar.

You should bear in mind the cost for travel when making your application. This can come up to £300 either by flight and train or via the Eurostar.

Experienced amateurs, please send in applications as soon as possible. Decisions will be sent towards the end of April.
College students, 13th May. Decisions sent by 27th May.
